Gravitational lensing has proved to be a reliable technique to study matter distribution. The two well-studied mass regimes are galaxy and galaxy clusters where the mass distributions are found to be very different. Galaxy groups, intermediate to galaxies and galaxy clusters in terms of mass, are less well-studied. Their study holds important clues in understanding the interaction between baryons and dark matter, and growth of structure in the Universe. In this talk, I will introduce a new window of exploration in the galaxy group mass spectrum using strong gravitational lensing.
