Professor Roberto Percacci (International School for Advanced Studies)

In the last year the application of functional renormalization group methods to gravity has led to the discovery of some scaling solutions, i.e. fixed points for sets of infinitely many couplings. I will describe some scaling solutions of scalar-tensor gravity and of f(R) gravity, and then explain why they are still far from being satisfactory.
